The aspiration needle for endometrial biopsy can be used to take mucous samples of the endometrium lining the uterus for diagnostic purposes. The specially rounded tip allows easy entry with the ultrasound guide preventing damage to the patient's tissues. The exact coupling between the needle and the grip allows smooth introduction of the stylet into the cannula. The needle is fitted with a practical universal Luer-lock attachment which allows connection to an aspiration syringe. On request the needle can be supplied in combination with a support fin to facilitate introduction.
